Nearshore

Baars has been involved in many marine projects and coastal surveys. There we have gained the knowledge and experience that is necessary to carry out CPT testing in such a difficult environment as water. Nearshore CPT requires the right know-how in addition to special survey equipment. The specifications of the equipment, the procedures for carrying out the surveys and the rules to be followed are somewhat different from tests carried out on land. The first and most important point before proceeding is to determine what type of working platform is most suitable for the project, and then to select a probe machine for it. We have a wide range of CPT equipment that will enable us to work in an aquatic environment thanks to bottom lock and casing systems. However, the most important thing here is the experience of the operator, who is able to guarantee the success of the whole project.
